I thought this deserved it's own thread, seeing as co-op is one of the best features in gaming evar. Evar.

Two sites so far that I know of have confirmed that in a press conference in Amsterdam, Bungie has announced that Halo 3 will have 4 player co-op over XBox Live.

Confirmed: It's official, there is 4 player co-op for XBox Live and System Link, and 2 player Co-op over splitscreen.

I am still a little skeptikal. What does "That way four players can compete via xbox live with eachother or against eachother." mean? How could you compete against eachother in Co-op? Also, 4 person Co-op? Sounds strange to me. Last I heard they we having a very difficult time getting the online Co-op to work and they said that all other aspects of the game took priority over that one. If it is true though, that will be very cool.

I think this is great. Coop on Gears was fun as hell with two people. Getting four friends together who are decent players will be even better. I hope one of my 360's gets back in time.

DVD drive went on the Elite and then the original one went red light district while I was packaging up the Elite to go to MS. Timing couldn't have been worse.

Next time get an in store warranty so you can just go straight to the store and get a new one.

That's what I got and it served me well when my 360 died.

Exactly. I thought co-op in gears made it 100x more enjoyable.
