Looks like X07 is still happening. It's scheduled for August 28th, if you want to try and get in.

I have followed the link, but didn't find the asnwer; what is X07? I gathered it was something to do with Microsoft, and the Xbox.

It's a European event that MS canceled but now it's happening in the Great White North.

I believe it's the full event that they had planned for Europe but instead moved it to Canada.

Haha, that is sad....the X is so lame anyways :P Wpg gets it every year but I never go cuz it's the same rides for the last 15 years.

Anyways, I know why they would pick toronto...just wish they would do it the same week as the comic convention so I could have a reason to take a road trip.....

If you read the article I linked to, it shows how to possibly get an invite. Here's the quote, although the invite list may be full by now.

I know that, you just don't have any proof that it's already full. I imagine it is but how hard is it to email her with an request to invite? I don't even know the size of the venue, could be massive.

X:07 has been going on in Canada since 02, it was only in 06 that it was open to the public.

Canada has also had X0 events for years, but they were just scaled down versions. Now we get the big one.

I also sent an email last night, hopefully I get an invite. I'll be sure to take lots of pictures if I do.

Yes, I posted this thread so that some people wouldn't think that MS gave up on X0 this year. I thought because it got cancelled in EU that it would be canned here as well.

It's probably the same event as last year, with different games (obviously). It could be a minni XO, I don't know for sure.

The XO events before 06 were behind closed doors and were probably a lot smaller than the "big" XO, so I imagine just like last years this will be just as big. Last year, it was all about GeOW, which was probably pretty huge.
