Stop paying for online. You wont be missed. If your going to keep bringing up the issue of paying for what others gives you for free then dont pay and play your xbox games offline. Hell you can even play your PS3 online and don't have to worry about paying. Go do that.

I haven't actually heard of a dedicated clan system built into live before that rumour thing came out, sure they might have had 2 years, but do you actually have any idea how long it would take to add this stuff? No, it's over these kids being satisfied with an update that gives us very little when there is so much out there they could be giving us...

People keep say that this is a "Free Update", and I don't think it is at all... Seeing as how we getting nothing in return for paying subscription fees, my reasoning is that we are paying to have good features in these updates, and they are not giving us what hardcore gamers want, and seeing as how that's the majority of who is paying for Live, I think that's a major sham.

But of course, you can' convice a fanboy that their favorite console is giving them the shaft... They'd glad take that shaft in a special place.

It is quite odd that the 360 doesn't have any clan support though, even on a game to game basis. Especially as unified as Live is.

Really, I'm sure my $5 a month is being spent on more than just firmware updates. I mean sure, some of the money would be spent on them, but then again, so would some of the profits from the sales of Halo 3. You must remember, Microsoft has to develop all of these developer API's, things like Trueskill, and all the other stuff that goes with Live. Developers can use dedicated servers, EA does it. The other publishers just choose not to. I really don't care about paying $5 a month to play online. Heck, I'd pay the same money for the PSN if I had to.
