Exclamation GDC 08: Gears 2: November 2008/7 Free Community Games
Kinda summing up two pieces of news into one thread, but this can just serve as a general Xbox 360 GDC thread.

Here's the basics:
-Free Gears of War 2 trailer and dash theme available in marketplace
-Gears 2 to be released November 2008
-7 free community XNA games to be released for free on marketplace later today

Gears of War 2 should be really kick-ass! Hopefully they'll release it on PC along with the 360 version when it launches. Gears of War is one of the 360's best games by far.

Koolio is saying there's a free picture pack up as well!

I can't check for a few more hours cause my 360 is packed up to go to my friend's house for a couple of days, but god I can't wait!

Yeah he's showing them to me. Said there's two skulls ones as well.

Just streamed the trailer on the website and wow! I loved it. Simple, but brilliant. Going to download it in HD to my 360 when I get to my friends

I'm curious what the limited edition has that the regular edition doesn't. I'm sure it'll be worth it, I just want to know. Amazon and Gamestop both let you pre-order already, but don't say what's different.

I doubt there's any beta or beta codes yet :/

Hope there is an online beta like with Halo 3 though!

I didn't receive a beta code. my friend had a level from GoW2 on his 360 from his father. Whenever i was playing it on my GT it said "Any On Insane" Whenever my friend signs back on i will ask to replay it and then post for whoever wishes to see my GT status while on the level

This XNA thing is great. Mostly because it's free though.

I dled the Gears 2 trailers on XBLM, and I was disapointed. It did show that you can counter a chainsaw attack.
