Lossless audio (True HD/DTS-HD) still uses a codec to compress and package the audio so it needs to be supported by the APU before it can be used.

So will if this does come true will the drive be used for both games an movies? Or just games?

nvm that was a stupid question. If it was used also for gaming that'd leave the other 360 gamers in the dust. And I'd be kinda pissed.

HD-DVD is a dead format now ... no one wants to use it.

imo, it would be a good idea. considering it IS a dead format, maybe microsoft can use that format for their games since its a lot cheaper now. thus making the DVD capacity limit easier for developers? watcha think?
