Default Xbox 360 getting ENTIRE new look come Fall


Microsoft is completely re-designing the Xbox 360 dashboard come this fall, it will feature a sort of "Mii-Clone" which can be used in some games.

It will also feature 3D slides, a major upgrade from the current dashboard.

From what I can see it that screenshot, it looks pretty naff. The blades look so much better IMO.

I'm disappointed you didn't watch the conference yourself I myself prefer the blade as it seems to allow for more customization as well as I'm not a huge fan of the new Avatar system.

It's very bland and they didn't demo it much besides the new features (avatar, primetime, etc.).

It looks great IMO, much more sleeker than the current dashboard. It is inspired by Media Centre i guess.

I actually don't think it looks that bad. I love the blades interface though, so not sure if I'll like being forced to use this, but we'll see how it goes. I won't knock it too bad until I at least try it out.

I dont really understand the full game installs, whats the point of installing your game to your harddrive if you still need the disc?

It's not the fans that are so loud, it's the DVD drive. That's why it's not that loud when you play XBLA games.
