Toys R Us is probably the best plan.

Isn't Toys R Us a part of amazon, and since Amazon are sold out won't TRS have the same problem?

Toys R Us aren't part of Amazon, as far as I know, but they are probably one of the many major UK retailers who now run their online operations through them, like WH Smith and Waterstones.

When I was last in a Toys R Us (the weekend before last, I was playing with Star Wars stuff and probably making myself look like a right tosser) they were still taking pre-orders for Christmas, because one of the assistants was trying to get me to buy one.

Maybe Currys, Dixons, Tesco or Asda.

Just avoid the primary Games stores like Game, Gamestation, HMV, Play and Amazon, because they're where everybody else will go first.

Well my sister works in a Tesco store, and they still had PSP's on launch day sitting on the shelf, and some of them stayed there until the 3rd/4th of September.

This is the best deal ToysRUs have, and to be honest, it only looks like it would save you £5-10 anyway. They normally do much better than this.

Well I've been through a few links for you, and oddly enough, this looks to be the most promising:

Well try Gameplay then, they apparently still have availibility on their second allocation.

Other than that, it looks like you're gonna have to make a mad dash to the supermarket on the 2nd.

Game = No, I actually spoke to 3 stores in my area, 1 said you'll be lucky if you get one this year, another laughed and the other one told me you won't get one if you just walk in....
