Hi.

Been talking with a few people about Xbox 360 shipments for Tescos stores.

I cant seem to find anything out, Can anyone help me out?

I have been looking at the Asda thread, but i thought it was a good idea to start one for tesco.

I cant see the allocations being too different to those that ASDA are getting, the only difference is Tesco wont be selling until about 7am.

What makes you say that, Tesco Extra's are open 24hr (at least the 2 near me are). Why would they wait until 7am?

They wouldn't, my Tesco 24hour store said they'd be on sale as soon as they could get them on the shop floor, basically anytime after Midnight!

Just phoned Tesco Extra Store (Peterborough) and they will be placing theres on shopfloor for sale at 12.01AM (1 second past midnight)

They will be having 10 units... and wished me "Very Good Luck" if I wanted one...

Basically my dads workmate's wife (i know what your thinking but im being honest here) works as a store manager for Tesco, they wouldnt let her have a unit reserved for her but she did find out that all big Tesco stores (ones with electronics) will be getting 18 units each and will go on sale as soon as midnight passes, i plan on hanging around tesco for a few hours just incase they slip them out early

any hints on where they are planning to put them out... its gonna be a bit of a problem, hanging around even for a couple of hours, if they arnt gonna put them out in the electrical section... maybe the games section... or maybe a special place hidden in one of isles... anyone know? especially as the Extra stores are really big!!! (well the one near here is!)

I just got off the phone with my local Tesco, very big store and they have only had 5 delivered so far but they might get some more before midnight launch

hey jus rang my tesco extra northampton and ther geting 12 of each first come first surved and will be goin on sale at 12:05 tonight/tomoro

Just spoke to tesco watford, they don't know how many xobox they're getting yet, but apprently there are already people waiting in-store.....ahhhhH!

erm.... possibly not.... I cannot be aaarrrrssssseeedddd...

as there is possibly one title I want at the mo... I cannot be bothered to travel 45min down the road, to turn around with nowt... anyway by the sounds of it i'd have to leave now just to get in the Que... dont forget theres now a GAME in SerpantineGreen so theres gonna be alot of overflow from there after that 10-20 units if Game aint got em....

my Tesco havent even had their stock yet

. i think i may be forced to go to game at at 4am and qeue up for a core version, getting a premium in London is impossible for the retail price

Finally spoke to someone with some sense at my local Tesco store and it seems that their stock didnt arrive so they wont have any until tomorrow morning anyway

They said i could phone then aqnd if it was in stock they would put one on hold for me and give me 30 minutes to pick it up, just aswell i only live 20 mins away D:,

It seems everywhere has Core units available for tomorrow morning but are making you buy packages, best deal i found was PC World - Core console and 3 games for £360 i had to laugh at the 360 price tag for a 360

Toysr r us are doing a deal of core + king kong game + 2 dvds for £400 and the same deal with an extra dvd and PGR added to it for £450

I wish everyone well int here quest for 360's i might end up getting a core console with a hdd ahh well

My little sister works in a Tesco store and her store has five that will be placed on the shelves at midnight.

There are also five guys waiting to buy them as soon as they do, and one of them has been there since 2 this afternoon.
