I heard that most Xbox360's are being sold half price in Japan due to a low amount of demand..

I heard most japanese players are just waiting for Dead or Alive 4.

Also, I'm assuming the launch went a little better... so like 39% of the ten 360's launched in the US is not much. haha

150 dollars for xbox 360's. thats a pretty fair price if you ask me.

its not techinally 150$...after you buy a year of the ISP over in Japan...then it becomes 150$.

I hope you think the ps3 and rev should be 150$ also.

you heard wrong. taht is only for certain isp bundles and has nothing at all to do with low sales. its only in a handful of stores in a handful of areas for teh first few to sign up with the isp. basically, its like the free 360 scams here in NA etc. but you dont see ppl running around claiming M$ has to give away 360's for free here! also, its 39% in a few days without ANY decent jap type games. doa4 will do VERY well right before x-mas.

Yeah obviously they wouldn't sell the system for that low. The sticker price is to attract the consumers, but in the end they spend the same amount by signing up with the ISP. Sega did something similar with Dreamcast

no matter wich way you look at it, japanese people have 360 systems at lower cost.
even without any rebates or even this isp thing.

ms is pandering to them to get the sales and the companies to develope for them.

but as it is japanese people really don't like american made stuff. if ya think of it the 360 is rather bulky and ugly.

not compared to ps3. its much sleeker than ps3 is. its really nothing more than them not seeing teh brand name japanese franchises they want to play yet. when they start getting those games in their hands, sales will be relatively fine.
