When The Godfather II (PS3, Xbox 360) came out on stores earlier this week, Electronic Arts handed out a pretty cool press kit containing a cigar, a pack of matches, a pair of dice, and some wire, and the object of curiosity and controversy - real brass knuckles. EA must've gone, "WTF were we thinking?" over the last few days, and now they want their shiny weapons back.
They must've realized that they just distributed real weapons into the gaming press, and that some states actually consider possession as illegal. Although they pointed out that it's all for curio, EA went on the safe side and decided to recall the brass knuckles before news start popping out that some guy got beat up with the swag bag freebie.
