Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children Complete sells over 100,000 at Day 1
The much-awaited Blu-ray copy of Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children Complete hit stores in Japan last week, carrying with it the demo for Final Fantasy XIII (PS3, Xbox 360). According to the early software sales reports, the movie doing very well, selling over 100,000 copies on its first day.
Sure, it's FFVII-related, it's gonna do well, right? But if you consider that we've already seen the non-complete Advent Children and that there are fewer Blu-ray player owners out there than DVD player owners, Advent Children Complete really brought the bacon home.
This perhaps confirms why Square Enix added the FFXIII demo into the package, giving it a greater pull for Final Fantasy fans. The figures may have that to thank for its success.
