Anybody get the chance to try out any of the Zune HD games yet? Microsoft has released a few internally-developed free games and apps. You won't need to pay for them, but you will have to sit and stare at some ads first before you can play the games.
According to Ars Technica, the HD games currently available for the Zune HD each have ads that pop up when you launch them. Launch times can also take up quite a while (probably dependent on ad length), so you can be staring at these ads for up to 30 seconds each time.
Still, a few ads can't be that bad if they're bundled with free games. At least they don't pop up in the middle of gameplay, right? Or showing up in a service you've already paid for.
