I recently started having problems connecting to xbox live.
It was working fine, then all of a sudden stopped working. When I test the connection, it says that I am unable to obtain an IP address (connected via ethernet)
I connected to my router and checked the DHCP table, and the xbox is leasing an IP address (192.168.0.103).
I then deleted the lease, then tried connecting again with the xbox.... same error.
I checked the DHCP table again, and the lease was re-created..... so the router thinks my xbox is getting an IP address, but my xbox dosen't think it is getting one.
DO you think this is a problem with my xbox, or with my router? I would prefer not to have to ship my 360 to microsoft agian, i am on my 4th one so far.
Just a side note, i have 4 computers hooked up to my router in addition to the 360. All of them are working fine.
