BLUF: The current rendition of 360 Live does allow for credit cards tied to military APO/FPO mailboxes. That means members of the U.S. military with caredit cards/debit cards tied to their APO/FPO mailboxes CANNOT use those cards with xbox Live 360.
I find it absolutely amazing that Microsoft sends out PR notes about supporting the U.S. Army in SWA (SouthWest Asia) and bringing the Halo 3 beta to the troops for a little while, but they completely have forgotten to support the U.S. military when it comes to their Live online service.
Now, while I'm currently subscribed to Live via a $50 card, once it's run its course, I'm never going to renew until this U.S.-based company fully supports its current #1 customer: The United States Department of Defense.
Don't believe me? Look it up.
And for those of you who want to try to complain about this thread, one of my whitepapers was presented at the Microsoft Army Symposium a few years back in my absence (I was busy doing bad things to bad people).
I know what the **** I'm talking about here.
This is the number one reason why the U.S. DOD refuses to deal with Apple on a larger scale.
To sum this all up: **** you, Microsoft, until you show more support for the people who are currently fighting and dying for your right to exist.
