Smile AFKIM: Instant Messenger for PSP v3.3.6

Hi all,

Here is a new release of AFKIM (Away From the Keyboard Instant Messenger),
the instant messaging application for PSP written by Danzel ! (see http://localhost.geek.nz/)

This version is only for people encountering name resolution and bitlbee connection issue.
I have added a simple workaround to specify timeout values used during connection process (see afkim.cfg configuration file to change default values).

You can find it here : http://zx81.zx81.free.fr/

HTH,

Zx.

I'm having a slight problem with the basics of this. The readme doesn't seem to tell you exactly how to create a bitlbee account. I tried downloading bitlbee and it's for linux or something... so I didn't find much help there.
I was hoping this would be a case of create and account and tell it my MSN so I could use it.

When you start it on the PSP it will ask you to create an account.

you can edit the file bitlbee.cfg and write login / password of your existing account.

See bitlbee-example.cfg for the exact syntax ...
