Thumbs up PSP-FTPD: A FTP Server on your PSP v0.3.4

    Hi All,

Here is a new release of PSP-FTPD the FTP server for your PSP.

    What's new in version 0.3.4 :

    - Add a background image designed by Cortès the Killer
    - Diplay IP address of the last connected FTP Client

    How to use it ?

Have a look to the README.txt file.

    Finally ?

It has been tested using gFtp on Linux and Internet Explorer and Filezilla on Windows.

Two binary versions (for 2.x and 1.5 FW) and sources are included in this zip archive.

    Enjoy, Zx.

The more you fail, the more you have a chance that it will work in the end.

I still think you should implement the current bandwith coming in and out, and the total amount uploaded and downloaded, also... show available free space on the memory stick

Edit: Oooh, I really like the addition of a background, this shall introduce a whole new slew of "Post your PSP-FTPD wallpapers here" threads... haha

Great app btw, I use it all the time as a USB-mode alternative for 2.6...

@lacrymist: yes, you can change the background image if you want, and replace it by your own. It should be called background.png and have a size of 480 x 272.

Filezilla is a free project of FTP Client and FTP server : http://filezilla.sourceforge.net/

According to me, it's one of the best running on windows.

    WS FTP LE 95 also works... same with the FTP command native in both linux and dos... my only beef with the program is that it transfers in ASCII mode always... can we get some binary support? (yes i've checked to make sure that my client is set to binary mode...) either that or WS_FTP LE is just gimp >_>;

also ~ i noticed one hell of a slow down from 0.3.2 to 0.3.3 (i enabled user / pass so i could access various things w/o having to restart the app...)

    kinda annoying when through-put drops from ~ 260KB/s to around 170~KB/s (kilo-BYTES not kilo-BITS)

i guess its not TOO bad... /grin

keep up the good work zx-81 ~

oh yeah, and i second the idea of an FTP client for PSP that works with 2.6 i would love to be able to share all the lovely homebrew with my customers @ work (i work in gamecrazy w00t )

oh yeah... anyway to work out Adhoc mode with this? so theres no need for a wireless router or AP... (i dont have one, and i dont feel like dragging a router up there ; ; )

When you transfer a file it is always in binary mode, even if the server send you a message such as : "150 Opening ASCII mode data connection for ...".

It's strange but it was like this in the original source code of PSP-ftpd.
