Talking PSPVBA: GameBoy Advance Emulator for PSP v1.0.4

Hi All,

Here is a new version of PSPVBA the GameBoy Advance Emulator for PSP.

I would like to thanks again Tommydanger for his help !

What's new in version 1.0.4 :

- Emulator menu is now directly available on startup
- Add turbo modes, it can result in graphic artefacts but you can win up to 20% !
(turbo modes don't work for all games)
- Add ARM tick average change option (can be used to increase speed)
- The file default.kbd (keyboard mapping) is now loaded on startup
- Screenshots are now save in BMP format instead of PNG
(less memory consumming, so it should not freeze your PSP).
- Many bug fix

How to use it ?

Have a look to the README.txt file !

Two binary versions (for 2.x and 1.5 FW) and sources are included in the zip archive.

This package is under GPL Copyright, read COPYING file for more information about it.

Enjoy,

Zx.

*This emulator doesn't work with the Tiff exploit on 2.0, so please use the GTA exploit instead. *

Judging by the speed at which these emulators come out, I don't think zx-81 has sleep mode either

Nice work

Great job, zx!
As fast as you're releasing PSPVBA, we will have full speed GBA emulation in no time!

PS: Thanks for removing default.gba on startup...

lol, yeah

Few Suggestions:
You could open the ROM browser on startup (pick you roms right away)

It would also be cool (if the users chooses to) to have it automatically load the last rom that you have played. Like make an option "Automatically Load Last ROM"

I know there are some people with undowngradable PSPs but they are in such a small minority it isn't worth the time and effort.

Someone know if Mario & Luigi Superstar Saga works?

And maybe a FPS report?

I would test it myself, but I dont have M&LSSS right now... Its on one of my backup-dvds...

lol, zx-81, love how the emulator progressed. Just two things i wanna input. First, which is basically nothing, when i put a different background picture, there are black bars. put a white background and you will see what I mean. It would be cool if that was made transparent, but its up to you. Another thing is, I like to get as close to the system as i can with button configuration. Thats why i emulate things on my psp instead of my pc because it feels like that system. So, if you can just add one more key option in your keyboard settings, i will be happy. What I am asking for, is to choose what the select key does. It would be cool if you can remap all the controls on the emulator. That is all up to you though.
